“If there was a reasonable risk of acquiring HPV, I’d get the vaccine.” – Male, 23
Here's one that I hear a lot, especially from boys. And unfortunately, there is a significant risk of getting HPV. 1 in 4 adults currently has HPV, especially among young people. It is the most common sexually transmitted infection. And because it usually doesn’t have any symptoms, you can’t tell whether or not your partner has an infection. The best thing to do to protect yourself is to get the HPV vaccine as soon as you can!

Remember, if you are 18 years or old, you do NOT need a parent’s permission to get the vaccine.
