Mythbusting Mondays- "It Makes You Promiscuous"

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving! Let's jump right into our next myth:

“If you get the vaccine, you’ll become more promiscuous and be encouraged to have more sex with more partners.” – Female, 24

This is completely false. Getting the HPV vaccine does not make you want to have sex, just like getting the flu vaccine does not make you want people to cough and sneeze on you. Making the decision to get the HPV vaccine is one of the most responsible ways to take care of yourself and protect your partners from cancer.
